Destruktor - Hope this ROX!

Minor Threat - Complete Works and First Demo: Was sorta as i expected- some of  it sounded very NOFX kinda stuff, not to sure if it aged well, its got that old punk kinda boring-ness to it...what i mean by that is now you can be spoilt for choice so why settle for something like this i guess...very like it came from a certain place time and was aimed at a certain audience, not just punk but something smaller and more clique-ish with in it..like a regional thing.. i couldnt understand cos i wasnt there so my opinion is unfounded really..except i dont like it so for me thats all that matters...the whole straight edge thing seems way overblown and way of the original point now if it came from their song named "Straightedge"...what was i thinking..some of these guys became Fugazi...boring

Mastodon - Leviathan:This band rox..some track more than others of course..some are just brilliant..the rest very good...Tuff stuff hard and heavy and tripped out...like Sleep mixed with The Tea Party if they did metal tunes...very Sleepish very trippy/stoner i guess, some kinda Doom-metalish stuff going on..(these next listed infuences are very small and probably not really there but i thought i heard it...a bit... Sabbath, Ved Buens Ende is there as well maybe Nirvana and Alice in Chains and even Metallica pops up a bit...) Odd music, Great music

In Flames - The Jester Race: Sorta In the Woods(Strange in Stero) does Swedish Metal circa 1993-95ish...bad statement...i dunno...this aged but seems to have a strange current relevance what with the resurgence(well about 2 years ago or more) of the old 80's "prog-metal" stuff (Like Stormwitch or whatever that stuff was)...there is a lot of the older 80's over the top metal in it...some songs still rock tho...this is pretty god..

THE AMERICAN VERSION OF THE OFFICE IS SHIT
It just falls so short on getting the humour and feeling of the British original, it apes it in such an ineffectual and vague way im not sure they understood the original at all, like they saw the first episode and went , "yeah , i get it, its kinda like this and that , yep yep we get it ..." and then just went off on their lost way.

Even a small lesser joke like when the guy gets his stapler encased in jelly falls short because the characters are not THERE! They are not there at all...who the fuck are these american twats....

This show is an insult to the original, its sad and really says something when they can not play the original series so the US has to remake it so its low brow and light on the thoughtful humour so the general scum can understand it...

The Quest - Tests 1 and 2 :

Test number 1 - Ingredients
Cheese
Chuck steak
Chicken peices(Leftover pre-cooked)
Diced(small) raw Carrot, Potato and Parsnip
Leftover(pre-cooked) Peas, Carrots, Cauliflower(small peices)
Ham(processed slices)

The Chuck steak was cut into small peices and cooked with the diced raw  vegetables with a little water added along the way when needed, as well as salt and pepper, until the meat is soft and vegetables cooked . Then the leftover chicken and vegetables were added and heated through .
This was then piled with the other ingredients into the jaffle

Tomato sauce was used as a dipping sauce

This was the same ingredients as number 1 but a fried(partly scrambled) egg was added to the jaffle pile along with some tomato sauce

"Some kids try really hard to sound evil, these kids succeeded. The Frugal Gormets (sic) were two 14-year-old kids from Indiana who were recording music together for fun and distributed the tapes among other kids they knew. I was a good friend of one of the Gormets, and when I moved from Indiana to Georgia, he sent me their tapes in the mail. I believe he also tried to distribute them by placing them with the tapes in his local public library.
This song is from their first tape called Home Cookin', which they recorded in late 1985. They used a busted tape player to radically speed up and slow down vocals to achieve very unsettling effects, which they layered with soundscapes of casio keyboards, flutes and harmonicas. Every song is about hell, doom and death. On this number, they hector and threaten Charles Manson in a way that might have frightened Charlie himself.
Note that this music was not made with any adult supervision or involvement whatsoever. Both the Gormets turned out to be relatively normal individuals, as far as I know. Lastly, the name of the band predates any controversy involving the real Frugal Gourmet."

Thursday - Im still alive...so far...Except "Ill" looks dumb in most fonts and you really have to be impropper and type ill or ILL and they look a bit shit as well..I opted for ill and you can see its not too over-the-top as the other option (ie: ILL)
